Dear Students and Families,
We are pleased to share some initial details about this year’s Grade 12 Prom and Graduation celebrations. Students recently voted on the format for prom, and planning is now underway.
Prom – May 29
This year’s prom will be a Dinner Prom, which will include:
- Red Carpet Arrival: 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- Catered Meal: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (served by ESC staff)
- Awards and Prizes
- Dance: 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm (playlist selected by students)
Ticket Cost: $60 per person
Graduation – June 29 at 6:00 pm
Location: Eastern Shore Community Centre (rink)
- Doors will open for families at 5:00 pm
- Students may invite as many guests as they wish; there is no maximum number
- Grad Fee: $60
- This fee covers the grad gown, grad t-shirt, grad breakfast, and decorations
Lobster Fundraiser
Students will have the opportunity to help offset the cost of prom and graduation by selling lobster draw tickets.
- Ticket Sales: March 30 to April 14
- Draw Date: April 16
- Students can sell tickets to cover costs up to $180
Students can pick up tickets during the first half of lunch (12:15 pm to 12:35 pm) in the school lobby from March 30 to April 8.
A special thank you to Lobsterworld for donating 20 lbs of lobster for the draw.
More detailed information about prom and graduation logistics will be shared with students and families in April.
